Using the Tools Drop Down


The Tools drop down is a list of Tools designed to make certain processes faster and more efficient. To use a particular Tool select the Tools drop down and while holding down your mouse button drag the curser to the Tool of your choice and release the mouse button. There are also quick keys associated with the first 10 items that are displayed to the right of the Tool.

Description of each Tool.

1. Batch Import a Folder of Images – Allows you to import a folder of images and automatically create records of for each image.
2. Find- All Records That Are Checked – Automatically finds all records that have a check in the check box to the left of the record on the List. This lets you easily find those records you have checked.
3. Find- All Records That Are Unchecked – Automatically finds all records that do not have a check in the check box to the left of the record on the List. This lets you easily find those records you have left unchecked.
4. Find- All Omitted Records – Automatically finds all records that are hidden from the List View.
5. Find- All Items On Loan- Automatically finds all records that status field is set to "On Loan".
6. Find- All Items (Less Sold & Donated)- Automatically finds all records that status field is NOT set to "Sold" or "Donated"
7. Find- All Items Sold- Automatically finds all records that status field is set to "Sold"

8. Find- All Items Donated- Automatically finds all records that status field is set to "Donated".
9. Unsort- Unsort's your records.
10. Edit Contact Information – Takes you to the Contact Information editor.
11. Edit- Currency – Takes you to the Currency editor. Once there type the symbol for the currency of your choice.
12. Back Up – Export your data to a back up file.
13. Import Records from Back Up – Import the exported records from your back up file.
14. Recover – Recover a damaged or corrupted file.
