Using the List View Interface

The List Tab is the main area that you will use to view and search your items.

Understanding the List Columns

The List Tab consists of 12 columns. Each column with the exception of the “Notes” column can be sorted by clicking the gray dot next to the column title. When the dot next to the column title is blue, that means that the list is sorted by that column. See Sorting Your Records.

Column 1: Check Box – Allows you to check or “Flag” records for various reasons. One reason might be to define a list of just five items out of your inventory.
Column 2: Link to Detail – Takes you to the Detail layout for a particular line item.
Column 3: Category – The Category the item item falls under.
Column 4: Thumbnail– A thumbnail picture of the item.
Column 5: Item – The name of the item.
Column 6: Manufacturer – The manufacturer of the item.
Column 7 Serial Number – The serial number of the item.
Column 8: Quantity – The number of items you have.
Column 9: Unit Value – The value of one item.
Column 10: Value – The value of the item.
Column 11: Status – The status of the item.
Column 12: Notes – Notes about the item
