Where is the best place to back up my inventory away from my home?

There are a few ways you can back up your data.

1. Print a copy and give to your insurance agent. They will keep a copy on file. You can also give them a CD as well.
2. Print or burn a copy to CD and give to a trusted friend or relative. You can each swap and hold on to each others inventories.
3. Burn the data to a CD and or Print a report and place them in a fire safe in your home or safety deposit box at your bank.
4. Store a copy of the data file on an internet drive such as Apple's .mac or godaddy.com. Internet drives are safe and secure and will allow you access to the file with a password from any computer.
5. Store the data file on a flash memory drive. Flash memory drives are small and rewritable so you can update the archive at any time. Get one that is also a key chain and keep it with you at all times. Chances are if you are away from the home you have your keys with you as well as your inventory.
